A good day for a picture

I have been so lax in posting lately. Will try and write more tonight, but I just wanted to share some pics from this afternoon. Cody is darn near shed out and the sun was shining and he was all shiny looking so I had to take a few. Three dozen pictures later, I liked these.

Brand side (what do you think, is there a dressage horse in the making hiding in there?)

Mane side

I just liked the look on his face, "Are you done yet?"

Wow, I can't believe your horse is shed out already! Mine are still pretty wooly but their chests are pretty much shed off (and in their armpit and the other high wear areas).

I see a horse that still has a lot of growing to do, but who is starting out with a nice shoulder angle, nice stout straight legs, and low hocks. He looks like he will be fairly athletic...although I have no idea how that conformation will affect dressage movements.... he's very shiny though!

Thanks Kara :) He started shedding a while back (seemed he thought spring was going to be here sooner) and I've just kept brushing him-he was very itchy. I think he moves reasonably well so I'm still hoping I can turn him into my dressage pony :)

I wish Beautiful would shed out. She always seems dirty and scruffy right now. :(
